IONISING RADIATION MONITOR/METER

Eurologix recommends that all customers purchase a ionising radiation meter with all their x-ray purchases for good health & safety practice and to periodically inspect or for a *critical examination, if you have a trained RPS on-site. Eurologix does perform critical examinations as part of their service contracts but it is good practice to have a calibrated monitor.

'critical examination' (IRR99 reg 31) of safe operation is required to be carried out on newly installed equipment which generates X-rays, or houses a radioactive sealed source.
